Traveling By Train to Zakopane in the Tatra Mountains

Top five reasons to travel to Zakopane first class by train.

1.  The train station is 10 minutes from our apartment in Krakow.
2.  They make it easy to buy a ticket, find your platform, find your car, and find your seat.
3.   We had a six seat “booth” all to ourselves.  We read, walked around, slept, and ate.
4.   They deliver coffee in tiny cups, chocolate, and muffins.
5.   We saw suburban, rural, and mountainous scenery on the way to Zakopane.
