Keukenhof, also known as the Garden of Europe, is located near Amsterdam, Holland. It was our first stop after flying into Amsterdam and spending the night near the airport car rental.
For eight weeks Keukenhof hosts tourists from all over the world. We went on a cloudy rainy Saturday, April 28, 2018. At first I was overwhelmed by the hordes of people, but once I started snapping pictures and marveling at the details of the landscapes and flowers I was lost in the soul of nature.
There are more than seven million flower bulbs planted over 32 hectares (79 acres). But there’s so much more to see and revel in–works of art, inspirational gardens, a windmill, wandering streams and rivers, ponds, an indoor plant show, play areas for children and pink poodles.
